Pawsitive Change is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the health, safety, and everyday experience of animals, staff, and volunteers in rescues and shelters across the country. We partner with shelters, volunteers, and mission-aligned brands to bring eco-friendly, science-backed biosecurity solutions to the places that need them most.

Pawsitive Change was founded after witnessing a challenge quietly affecting shelters nationwide: despite their dedication, many facilities lacked access to modern, animal-safe biosecurity tools and up-to-date education. As a result, they were often left with products or practices that weren’t designed for sensitive animal environments.
This isn’t anyone’s fault – it’s a gap in resources, not effort.
Shelters work tirelessly with the tools available. We simply saw an opportunity to bring better ones.
We were created to empower rescues with safer disinfectants, long-term surface protection, modern electrostatic technology, and training that supports both staff and animal health. Because every animal deserves a clean, healthy place to heal – and every rescue deserves the knowledge and tools to provide it.
Our mission is to protect rescue animals -and the people who care for them – by raising the standard of health, safety, and biosecurity in shelters nationwide. We equip facilities with modern tools, training, and support so animals can recover in safer environments, staff can work more efficiently, and volunteers can confidently make a life-changing impact.

All donations go to animal welfare. All board members and administrators are volunteers.
